I never ever want the ducks to reach Omaha. Be great if A&M could crush them.in two. In addition to my usual loathing of the Ducks, there's one other very important issue. This is the very last NCAA event that will see teams from the self destructed PAC 12. The last 2 standing before the curtain drops forever are the faithful but grossly mistreated Oregon State Beavers and the traitorous Oregon Ducks. I dearly want us to be the very last team ever representing the most successful conference in NCAA history. Then, no matter how it ends, whenever it does end, I'd like to see all the players and coaches gather at the pitcher's mound, hoist their middle fingers, and shout a boisterous 'f%#* you!' to the ten departing traitors.I know I'll have only my dreams to experience the latter, but the former is a very real possibility. Make it so, Mitch! I'd rather have us in one final Pac-12 dogpile. |

So, is there a way to tell by the current bracket when we would play our first game in Omaha? I'm thinking the answer is none of that will be finalized until the 8 teams are known.....but the brackets carry over to Omaha soooooo.....?

One thing’s for sure. This is one optimistic thread. I still think it's 50/50 whether we go.....I'm just curious if the game times are known and with which brackets, for CWS. We get in to Omaha(if Beavs go) on the red eye.....just trying to plan |

Are we able to conclude that should we make it there we would be Friday Sunday or Saturday Monday.....?

Imagine all the columns that would get written about the last collegiate event of the year, and how the Beavs are still standing. The copy writes itself. Trying to keep those feelings in check, though. Dreamt about it in FB and WBB, and was let down. Even at our absolute best, the chances of winning it all are slim. But damn would it be f*ckin' glorious... |
