Damn, this Clemson-Florida is nuts, three ejections so far. That game had a bit of everything. For a game I had no ties to, that was very entertaining. Collisions, ejections, back and forth lead changes, 9th inning heroics, extra innings, injury timeouts, and an unbelievable over the shoulder catch with the game on the line. Oh and air raid sirens and an entire stadium booing the other teams best player every time he came up to bat. That was some kind of atmosphere alright. I did end up pulling for Clemson just so there would be another game today between them to watch. |

The dude who hit the go-ahead HR for Clemson was 0-for-6 with five Ks and a GIDP before his homer. Then he got ejected for his antics with the bat. He was a grad transfer so what a memorable way to end his one year there.

He was a grad transfer so what a memorable way to end his one year there. As far as I know, bat antics kid wasn't ejected, 2 coaches were. The assistant got heaved first and then the head coach. It was never made clear what the assistant coach did (he was a grizzled old vet so he probably knows the golden words to get tossed) to get heaved, it was obvious what the head coach did (he might get some additionals as he went on the playing field following the crew chief around for a couple minutes after he was tossed, then started to amp up the crowd with arm waving). Bat antics dude was still on the bench after the coaches left. |

State beats Georgia, so it's 4 ACC, 4 SEC. Be interested to see what the TV ratings are, no point for anyone west of Texas or north of the Mason-Dixon Line to watch it.
