If that's what this is, then I understand your shock and disappointment with the fanbase. But it isn't. It's compounded by the loss on Sunday and the very weak hitting that only through the grace of two of the best pitching performances all year got us a couple wins. The hitting slump has been contagious and persistent.

I, for one, don't think it's all broken, but it isn't a finely tuned engine either. And this team seems to lack the resiliency/maturity to respond well to a loss/weak performance. I keep waiting for that spark to show because I know the talent is there.

They have to approach the game like they did at the start of the year. I think they are getting cooked by the pressure. They have to let it all go and just go out like it's a new game at the start of the year. Everybody is equal. No win streaks, no losing streaks. No slumps and no streaks. Just relax and play ball.
