I expected our RPI, and rank to drop more.
I guess the good thing is we still kind of control our own destiny. Our room for error got much smaller though.
Definitely agree with those one here saying we need to find our mojo again, and fast!

We sure didn’t look like what I think a #9 team should.

We sure didn’t look like what I think a #9 team should. We looked like a team in 9th place in the pac12.

Cal is scrappy, and they throat punched us all weekend. If the post season started today, I wouldn't want to see Cal in a regional.

Definitely agree with those one here saying we need to find our mojo again, and fast! Cal rose up from 75 to 48. Oregon State fell from 13 to 15. Cal has played the 50th most-difficult schedule, and the games were on the road. Road losses are not great, but they are not RPI-killers, like home and neutral losses. Oregon State's RPI is .5974, which is a great RPI. If the Beavs can keep the RPI up, that is a top 10 RPI at season's end in all likelihood, a likely top eight national seed. The top-end RPIs are evening out, as you would expect.

The Beavs have 15 games left to play. Win at least 10 of those and finish 40-14 or better, for the regular season. A good year by any standard regardless of expectations.

Let’s all perform seppuku. Nah, prepare the worst, hope for the best. Reality is, the Beavs have lost 4 in a row in the 9th, to unranked teams.

Of our 9 losses, at least 5 of them have been by one run. Of the past four losses, 3 were by one run. And we are worried? Yes, it is uncharacteristic of Beaver baseball, and we all know that the team has greater potential than what we have seen over the past 4 games. So why worry?
Just like the team, we're letting it get to us psychologically and eat at our spirit. The truth is, when the boys start having fun out on the field again, you're going to see a mighty steamroller just like at the beginning of the year.

Our two top hitters were also not to their standards in Berkely coming off injury. Still, it's been concerning.
