I think it’s safe to say we just aren’t the team everyone expected coming into the year. Not enough pitching, clearly. I’m not trying to be a downer, just trying to evaluate this team since the USC series. I think we will be a 15-25 ranked team by the end of the year. Really disappointing to have this be a reality right now, but I can’t come to any other conclusion at this point. Some of my disappointment comes from expectations, and maybe they were just too high to begin with.

Perfect ending. Who gets the game ball? I have an idea who should get it.

Now reality is setting in.

This team has had chemistry problems for a while. It's making other parts of the game break down.

Has OSU ever lost 3 straight games in the bottom of the 9th? 4 straight losses overall in the 9th as Stanford scored in the Top 9th to win that game.

Waste of offensive firepower. As good as the offense has been, the defense and pitching are at the other end of the spectrum. I will say one thing. I am not in favor of switching pitchers in certain situations like the Beavers have lately. I think you should try to ride some pitchers longer. I would have let Mundt stay in a little longer. Morrell could have been left in longer. Coaching staff is too quick to make a move at times. What ever the problem is, they better figure it out quickly.

I really don't think Dornan has a clue on who or what he has. And frankly seems to make the wrong sub at the wrong time often.

Beavs are actually fortunate that it was the bottom of the 9th.
Bears likely coulda scored 3 or 4 more runs if it were any other inning.
