The best news about this is it likely means Rueck is sticking around. It doesn't make much sense for AJ to go public in this way if she knows Rueck is leaving. Rueck may still leave, but this is at least evidence to me that AJ doesn't know or think this is the case.

I have some grace for TvO in all this, as she was the one who showed the loyalty originally that allowed this Elite Eight run to even happen. I don't understand why she didn't want to run it back her senior year like other competitive players, but I also don't know her full reasons, and she did put in 3+ years at OSU. When Raegan said this year would not have happened without TvO, it feels like the response to Tvo leaving by the rest of the starters was, whelp, we aren't able to lead this team back without her, so might as well go somewhere with that leadership in place.
The reality is, championship teams always have great leaders on the court, not just great coaches (and sometimes not even good coaches, if the player leadership is good enough). Rueck has been excellent at bringing in and developing leaders on the court. Did nobody feel like they could step up into that role with TvO leaving? I'm at a loss for sure at what went through their minds, I definitely struggle to relate to their departuers with how I felt in my playing days. I do relate to AJ's response though, even as bleak as it all looks for her at this point.
