So, you’re picking the team that is undefeated this year? Going out on a limb, eh? I'm picking OSU as giving the undefeated champions the toughest game in their postseason. 4 pt loss is worse than a 12?

That was 100 percent a foul. Arguing about whether it should have been called "in that moment" is nonsense. The twitterverse is losing its mind over this.
They had Bird and Taurasi on Sports Center right after the game. They didn't like the call. Huge surprise there. They don't have a biased opinion at all do they?

Meanwhile, in semi #2 Iowa can't stop turning the ball over and can't hit a shot. Get ready for South Carolina vs. UConn for the Championship...again. We are ready

So if a handful of officials work all the Pac 12 games, we can't call them Pac 12 officials because Judge Smalls say so. Cool. Next year they will be all WCC officials which are much better than Pac-12 officials.

Looked like a foul to me. But it also looked like a foul that often is not whistled. Iowa had the good fortune of having a small-ish player bang into the screener and ricochet like a billiard ball - magnifying the image of contact.
Personally, I liked the call because I wanted Iowa to win. I also liked it because it's weird-justice for all the times Raegen has been dinged for the same thing. GO BEAVS!!

I just saw that. Social media really draws out the worst in a lot of people.

I just saw that. Social media really draws out the worst in a lot of people. It’s the anonymity of it all. I wonder what Benny’s House would be like if we all used our real names…

It was not lost on me that ESPN immediately went into 'was that a call that should be made at that point in the game?' mode and continued to push in that direction with SVP. I'm sure social media would have done just fine making the call a big controversy but ESPN definitely pushed it in that direction. Just in case there's anybody left that think ESPN cares about anything but how much hype can be created around a player, team, game or conference.

I get all the complaints from multiple posters, but... Since when is media operation not supposed to care about their bottom line and what will make them the most $. They are a business. We may not like it since OSU is rarely in the spotlight. But, it's the entertainment biz... hype and making $ is their focus. The more a team, coach, player can help that cause the more it'll happen. They payout billions... to make billions.

They were allowed to take control of D1 football by the real culprit. And, that is the extremely poorly organized and run NCAA. Everything that's been happening to college athletics stems from decades of poor leadership from that putrid example of an organization. Our was almost inevitable from their lack of leadership and organizational control.
