There's always angst posting among the like-minded and doing your best to add to the group, but he perhaps cared too much. Concord had some great input and i always looked forward to reading his posts. As for the slip about one player, it took a lot of guts to apologize Iike he did with humility. I hope he comes back! I think it's pretty easy to get turned off of this place. Lots of bickering, sniping, condescension, etc .....you gotta get thru that initial shock phase, and the impulse to run the other direction. Otherwise, it's a pretty good source for all things Beav. That's a pretty stupid observation, flyfishinbeav. It's obvious you don't know how the Internet works and most of your posting clearly show you don't even understand basketball. But sure, whatever makes you feel better by blaming others.  |

Again, I'm kind of left scratching my head. So you build this power team, you win a championship and then what? You parade around telling people you bought a championship for your alma mater? And then? They should have sold the Blazers to Phil and his Dodger friend and then he'd have something to do. |

Let's be honest, oregon is recruiting to the B1G, we are recruiting to the WCC. Looking through the ESPN top 100 women's recruiting rankings for the 2021, 22, 23 and 24 classes and the WCC does not have any top 100 recruits. Gonzaga did sign the number 87 player in 2020. Our top three scorers last season were top 25 recruits. As long as we are in the WCC we are going to have to win with 3-star recruits, which we can do in the WCC but it will be challenging to say the least to be a national program.
The best transfers are taken, we need to fill out the roster in the next week or two. Unless we are going to fill it out with international players, but obviously there is completion for them as well.

Of the 7 players Oregon has gotten through the portal....Deja Kelly (North Carolina) is the only one that is going to really help them. The 6 they lost are far better than the 7 they're bringing in. And yes...it is the Big 10 for them. And I know....who cares about Oregon now!!

And yes...it is the Big 10 for them. I disagree. Of the players they lost Van Slooten is the only one they will really miss. Grey did not live up to her ranking and was a disappointment. The others that left were either role players or players who didn't play much. Kelly is the star of the class, but they have some other players who can be solid contributors. Their roster has been upgraded; it would be hard not to be considering how awful they were last season. |

Beers talks about her transfer...very long. She mentioned that her friends were leaving as a reason for bailing. The host started by saying the Elite 8 appearance was the best in the Beaver's history. So there's that.
Watching how each of the exiting players are rooting for each other/or not, on social media seems the loss of friends (TVO and Timea) does ring true. Besides Beers, not much love being shared among the 8.
