Thank you grad 1973. 6'4" Maryam Duada, soph, Arkansas visitation this week. Dauda is visiting OSU? Interesting. I see Iowa has been talked about as a landing place. Arkansas is the only program that has really been decimated by the portal to a similar level as OSU as far as losing a lot of top players. Four starters are in the portal. I wonder how much Neighbors has to do with this because Arkansas certainly isn't headed to the AAC or Sun Belt. Dauda would definitely be a big get for the Beavers at this point, though I'm doubtful about the chances at this point. I still believe Rueck is going to bring in as many foreign players as possible.

With everything that has transpired since March, and the mass exodus, the seemingly heartless transfers, I'm left wondering if OSU should consider eliminating the post-game " 8 minute mingle"? It seems this should be considered. Discuss.

It's an opportunity for engagement between current players and fans and is particularly fun for the younger fans from what I've observed. Getting rid of it would be a little bit of a self defeating act, IMO.

I find it’s hard to believe she’s visiting this week as this is a “dead period” though Sunday.

Interesting that Concord-man after all of his recent posting has joined the departed and bailed out of here!

Interesting that Concord-man after all of his recent posting has joined the departed and bailed out of here! Yeah, it's too bad he felt the need to leave for whatever reason. He seemed to want to be a part of the board

I love that they do it and wish the men would do something similar. If people don't want to get attached to the players anymore, which I get, then don't go down there. I am still glad I got to meet and talk to the players from this last years team. Apparently I am in the minority on this board, but I still truly believed they enjoyed it and cared about the fans. Them leaving didn't change the fun I had last year, or me wanting to do it again with next years players. They moved on, fans should to. I look forward to Rueck and co returning to Gill this fall, and meeting the players is part of the fun, at least for me and my family.

There's always angst posting among the like-minded and doing your best to add to the group, but he perhaps cared too much. Concord had some great input and i always looked forward to reading his posts. As for the slip about one player, it took a lot of guts to apologize Iike he did with humility. I hope he comes back!

I think it's pretty easy to get turned off of this place. Lots of bickering, sniping, condescension, etc .....you gotta get thru that initial shock phase, and the impulse to run the other direction. Otherwise, it's a pretty good source for all things Beav.
