I would tend to believe Lily's dad over most people about what was going on. Perhaps he just wasn't phrasing it well to be explicit on how they were decieved.
Regardless, they are gone. TVO put in 3 years and it doesn't matter what she's done now, she's lasted longer than most of them.
They aren't coming back. We need to start a team rebuilding thread and start picking out prospects from "the store", aka the portal.

Here is a potentially transfer related post/image on TvO's twitter/X feed.... Go Beavers! TvO is engagement farming. The only one of the "8" departees that is going full-social media seems to be TVO. The Colorado uni image was preceded by very similar Louisville and a Kentucky uni- images. I guess I sorta enjoyed it (or at least overlooked it) when she was a publicity hound as a Beav...but my goodness, her social media documented 'tour' of potential landing spots is pretty over the top. I'm 75 y.o......maybe it's just that I've arrived at the 'get off my lawn' place in life. That, and the fact that TVO is either the 3rd or 4th most desirable of the Beav players in the portal. Beers - Gardiner surely ahead of her...and in the long run, I think Parouva is a better 'get' as well. |

When I asked Favre earlier in this thread how many of those that departed would have to return for Lily to return. The response was 3. Which made me wonder whether Lily is a follower or a leader. Hell it makes me wonder about all 8 of them. If as a group you have a chance to win the whole thing and instead give it a big F U. No more than 1 or 2 will ever see elite 8 again.

That was the basis of what happened. 🤣🤣🤣 NIL: "deceived" or "lies" - that characterization makes no sense. Coach is the last person that should be communicating with players about NIL. Conference ??'s: If we,as a fan base could read the writing on the wall, it's hard to believe that 19-20 y.o. socially-connected athletes couldn't know what was going on - re:PAC12 / WCC - regardless of what they (expected?) to hear from SR. It was not really in SR's hands anyhow (just like NIL). IMHO Mr. Hansford is either being mis-interpreted here...or he is very ill-informed (and biased). Kudos to those players who were not "deceived": Marotte, Rees, Shuler, Yepes, Heide. |

That was the basis of what happened. 🤣🤣🤣 I don't understand that, Favre. Did they expect Barnes and Rueck to keep them in the loop while negotiating with different conferences? That wouldn't work. Did they feel Rueck had deliberately lied about the situation? Promised them we'd wind up in a better situation than we did? That doesn't sound plausible. In any event, if one, or all, of these ladies would come out and specifically state the reason(s) for leaving, it might help OSU fans to understand it, and maybe even empathize with them. As none of them choose to do so, we can only look at the situation as we can see it, and pretty much assume that it must be about money because everything else looked great. With over 1,300 women in the portal now, I can personally only conclude that the group of women that makes up this set are, collectively, completely lacking in any sense of commitment or loyalty and are not worth my continued interest in the sport. It is regrettable that those like AJ, who do display those desirable traits, are lumped in with those like Lily, who do not, but that's just the way of it. |

Any player can withdraw their name from the portal at any time. They can also go back to their prior team, that is if that school will take them back.

Their agenda is that their child is successful and loved, and they will try to overcome any barriers to their agenda. They also tend to have way too much time to gossip and rumor monger. I would have to know a parent very well before I put much stock into their view of events, and random posts on an anonymous message board come nowhere near that standard. |

Nothing worse than making allegations and not explaining why there were lied to and deceived. What is the basis for saying it. It is easy to be vague. Need to come out and just state the facts as to why they were lied to and deceived. Then everyone can make up their own mind. I am not calling Favre a liar, I would just like to get the facts and form my own opinion.

Also will say all of the information and scenarios were reported in the media multiple times. So, I think if the players didn't know what could happen they didn't read the many articles from the media. Just my opinion.
