Just watched that Beers to UCONN U-Tube. If it's the video I watched, that was 7 days old. She evidently quit following them on social media recently. She could still end up there for all I know...

They all left because they felt that they were deceived and they were lied to because SR Never discussed conference realignment or NIL with them ever. That was the basis of what happened. 🤣🤣🤣

NIL is complicated but I didn't think a coach could directly discuss NIL.

Unfortunately coaches can "help" with NIL now, as of last year. So who knows if Favre is correct or not. But in terms of realignment, that's not on Coach Rueck, obviously I doubt he wanted to be in the WCC instead of the Pac12. And I also highly doubt he was ever asked his opinion of which conference we should play in. The WCC is hopefully a band aid until we settle in somewhere in a couple of years. I really liked Lily, and if she did come back, which I don't expect, I would personally welcome her. But I can't believe they all left because they felt deceived by Rueck. Most of his ex players, including two on his staff, seem to think he is a great coach, and a great person. This seems to be a different generation ran by different rules and wants. I really don't think Rueck would have suddenly changed in the last few years, but I wasn't in the locker room so I guess maybe?

Wife talked with 2 of the players who left the program Sunday. They seemed nice as ever without a negative thing to say about anything. So, for me it's the same old thing we may never find out why they left. Although I just came from a meeting at campus and I heard "Big Changes Coming." So. I'll wait and see what Scott says tonight.

Full tuition, room & board scholarships; cost of attendance stipends; top-notch coaching and training facilities; the Toyota NIL program specifically tailored to WBB and an adoring fan base that thinks you all walk on water and treats you like another member of the family. But the WCC is beneath me and I have go elsewhere because I won't get what I think is coming to me. I'm starting to think, good riddance, and I don't believe I'm the only one thinking that. Other's mileage may vary, and I've got no problem with that.

Plus, they just read, listen to any news or Pac12 info for the past 12+ months?? The "last"... was all we heard about every road trip, game, tourney. A coach can't. The school can facilitate deals in helping players find one. But, that is thru the AD.

I find it interesting that the men's program has added, what, four transfers already and wbb is stuck in neutral.

But it didn't and unless we find out that Rueck is leaving and told them so it points directly at the move to the WCC. No big surprise, athletes want to compete at the highest levels possible. Is the WCC stocked with Pac-12 level talent? No. And there's a good reason for that. I believe most key players from any other Pac-12 team would hit the portal if the option was to play in the WCC. Having said that, yeah, it bothers me. And TVO's "tour" is particularly irritating, at least to me.

I think there might be some amount of regret from the group that bailed, when they come to realize what they had. Maybe one, or two of em will end up in a better sitch.....maybe
