My take on Lily---improving player in all facets of the game---happy enough here with her PT and teammates---feels like she can compete with the best now with her size and 3 pt shooting ability and improved defense---probably a little homesick. Now that most of her teammates have bailed and her team is being relegated to a weaker conference she has simply decided that it is a good time to move back closer to home and back to top level competition. I wish her well and enjoyed watching her progress into a top level player during her time here.

Interesting on this-mornings “The Next” WNBA update they listed next year’s top 25 college WNBA prospects, none of 8 our Portal players who left were on the list.

I'm sorry and maybe because I have a lack of insight of "WHY", but I have no sympathy for the ungrateful "8" and I do not wish them well. If it is lack of playing time I can make an exception, but for the rest I consider ungrateful, selfish, backstabers that have no loyalty to OSU, Coach SR, the OSU fans that supported them, or their teammates (that they love). I don't believe the homesick reason. It is simply a case of "ME" !!! I will continue to support the players that stayed. Thanks AJ and to the others that stayed.

I really should quit reading some of this stuff. How in the world anyone could think that going to Kentucky or Oklahoma might be a better place to be than an Elite Eight Oregon State where you loved everyone is utterly beyond me.

Joke from a former co-worker (born and raised in Oklahoma): Why doesn't Texas break off and fall into the ocean? Because Oklahoma sucks so much.
But really, nothing wrong with a cursory visit. You have to drive the Citation to appreciate the Cadillac... or something like that.

I don't feel this anger toward the players in the portal. The only ones really getting hurt are the players themselves who are giving up a good crack at a national championship because, so far as anyone is saying, they don't want to play in the WCC.
But it did give me a chuckle when I read an article in the NY Times about Jade Carey. She is trying to compete collegiately and also go to the Olympics in the same year. I gather that this is something no one has tried to do before. She said the reason she is doing it is because she loves the feeling of teamsmanship she has at OSU and also LOYALTY.
