Looks like Van Lith is headed to TCU. They’ll be really solid - Conner, Van Lith, Cavinder, Prince, and possibly Hunter. Hunter being on a team that has Hailey Van Lith, would be a far different situation for her than the the 2023-24 OSU WBB team. Doubtful that Hunter would be 'in charge' to the extent that she was in her Freshman season in Corvallis. Van Lith is the model for the current version of "One and Done" in women's college hoops. Well said. Van Lith is the new "One and Done"in women's college hoops. I read someplace that TCU has 3-4 billionaire alum that help out from time to time.

If we take NIL out of the equation -what does TCU have to offer a top level WBB player?
It's Baylor without the rapes?
Private school with money. Sports are well-funded in every way. Good location. No reason you can't win championships there.

"Private school with money. Sports are well-funded in every way. Good location. No reason you can't win championships there."
Their record for the past 10 seasons, starting with 23/24 is: 21 - 12 8 - 23 6 -22 10 - 15 22 -7 24 - 11 23 - 13 12 - 18 18 - 15 18 -14
It doesn't look like a well-funded program that can win championships.
Maybe the new coach is elevating expectations. Maybe the billionaire alum truly has stepped up? Whatever the case might be - good players are signing up, and it's not really clear why..... GO BEAVS!!

TCU also got Maddie Scherr from Kentucky (and previously Oregon).
The Cavinders are both back at Miami, so TCU lost 1 Haley and got a different Hailey.

I think it's pretty obvious, players want to play for Campbell. They had a bunch of incoming transfers last year as well. This will be his second season there.

Yeah, why hasn't she chimed in ? This pic of her included would make ya think she's with us. I keep thinking that whomever is choosing pics for posts or ? has to wade through a bunch of them to find ones that have only "the five" and none of "the eight".

IIRC, we were interested in Kemery when she was in high school

Her social pages still have all the Beaver pictures and videos on them. I'd think that is a good indicator but I could be wrong.

IIRC, we were interested in Kemery when she was in high school Correct - she took a visit in the spring with Taylor Jones before choosing Utah. She played with Sela and Kelsey at Cal and Utah too.

Lilly Rumor. Lilly to Indiana. These are the type of transfer portal transfers I like. Wonderful person. Gave OSU a try to 2 years. It's not working out. Heading back to home turf. I like it. Happy for her. Couple years at Indiana, she can built up some notoriety land a good job after her playing days are finished.

Happy for her. Couple years at Indiana, she can built up some notoriety land a good job after her playing days are finished. How is it not working out? She got a lot more minutes in her sophomore year than she did as a freshman, and could have gotten even more minutes as a junior. Her team finished ahead of 341 other D1 schools, and would definitely have been projected to finish that high again next year. She played in front of more people at Gill in any given game than she did over the course of her entire 4 years in high school. Next year they would have averaged over 6,000. She got to go to Hawaii (twice) and Italy. She and her teammates just loved each other so, so much. So how was it not working out?

How is it not working out? (?) She got a lot more minutes in her sophomore year than she did as a freshman, (Agreed) and could have gotten even more minutes as a junior (Double agree). Her team finished ahead of 341 other D1 schools (totally agree), and would definitely have been projected to finish that high again next year (So much for projections). She played in front of more people at Gill in any given game than she did over the course of her entire 4 years in high school (Yes). Next year they would have averaged over 6,000 (Agreed). She got to go to Hawaii (twice) and Italy (Agreed). She and her teammates just loved each other so, so much (There, that's it,Love? Just kids trying to manipulate media, it was all fraud, no love, just childishness). (My take is if you're going to act like that, childish, you aren't ready for the big stage, she isn't ready for the big stage along with 7 of her other teammates.)
So how was it not working out? Good, she is gone, gone to a better place in her time zone. Elite 8's tend to lead to Final 4's, if the players have what it takes. They don't. So, let's start over.
