Other than Dono visiting TCU and Rae maybe CO or UConn, any other rumors where the others may end up? Seems like some social media may be indicating some destination but I don't do social media. Anyone got anything? TvO appeared to be in Cabo with a Gabby Gregory of K-State (whose career at K-State seems to have come to a close?) a couple of days ago, with the beach photo posted on social media garnering a few "hateful" comments re: Tv0 departure, garnering a Gabby response. I don't know much about Kansas, but my good buddy from Nebraska told me you can see your dog running away from home for four days in that part of the country, so maybe the Cabo trip is a recruiting trip? :-). Hey - you asked for rumors! Go Beavers!

Anyone got anything? Dom Paurova, who was one of my favorite players on the team and who I saw making the "Kolbie Leap" next season in a big way, has re-posted a tweet?/X? from her old school (DME Academy): "DomiPaurova is in the portal fresh off an elite 8 appearance with Oregon State Beavers. If interested in her services feel free to call me at +1555xxxxxxx" That does not feel like the hallmark of someone with a master plan to rule the world post-OSU. Fascinating. NOTE: I have obscured the phone number here in the event anyone reading this is bent upon calling and dispensing some "hate" Go Beavers!

Do you have something relevant to say? If so, please do. If you have relevant information, please share.
Otherwise, what's all this rat crap? GO BEAVS!!

Have a very hard time believing none of the eight players felt loyal to Scott, the school, even friends. I get the grass is greener stuff but not to this extent. So, I wouldn't be surprised if light is shed someday on a deeper issue for the exodus.

Not OSU related, but another strange development in the world of women's hoops. Hanna, the not as good Cavinder twin, has now decided to return to Miami after a 1 year hiatus and supposed retirement from basketball. Maybe nothing more than a rumor at this point, but saw speculation Haley will return to Miami to join her. Which would mean going from Miami to TCU and back again, without ever playing for the Frogs. What a strange time we live in.

Still some big prizes in the transfer sweepstakes, but today Iowa got a big lift w/ Lucy Olsen (from Villanova). Averaged 23 ppg, will help ease the loss of Clark at least a little bit.

I don’t understand what the heck she is doing. Why be in such a hurry to leave if that is all her “plan” is Still think there is more too it. But when all your friends leave... And everyone promises cash. I also find it interesting as I wander around the X/Twitter feeds of various portal Beavers: Adlee has no banner picture now. Timea's banner picture is of a smaller family: in the picture, Rae, TG, Adlee, Lily, Marta - but no Dom/Dono/Tv0. TG re-posted the recent tweet from Yepes in Beaver uniform announcing "coming Nov 2024", and a status that indicates AJ had some sort of surgery today. As the great Syd Wiese said: "I hope for those who have decided to leave that they end up where they want to be." Go Beavers!

No sense following them along. We should be out finding Twitter feeds for prospective adds and see what's cooking.

Really no reason to get "riled" either way. It won't change a thing. OSU being "ok" has many facets. The most concerning to me is that everyone, that includes SR, knows there is a high probability of players leaving no matter the team's success. Yet, OSU has no recruits signed or as far as I can tell interested?? Maybe SR is only planning on vets thru the portal as he has enough youth?! As for player retention the #1 priority, biggest loss, would be Timea. There are very very few 6'3" stretch 4s with complete offensive games. And, she's just getting started. Don would be next IMHO... poised 6'+ PG that can drop a key "3", or penetrate vs smaller guards is also rare in a youngster. Dom would be my 3rd. So strong, versatile, yet a bit predictable. As only a Frosh in the US game she has a ton of upside. However, she doesn't need to portal. She can go home at any time and make more playing than any NIL she'll be offered. Beers is the board fav. I get it. But, she very limited offensively and can be a liability vs mobile 5's and those built like her but truly 6'5"+. She has the most "growing" to do to become a complete player. A face-up game, improve FTs, discipline on D vs reaching and coming down from vertical on interior shots. Again, not disparaging her game or importance these past two seasons. I just see her as easier (mot easy) to be replaced than the other skill sets above. Even with "big by committee" if needed. IMHO SR's biggest '23 blunder was Kelsey and Heidi. One, or both, needed to be a more effective big even if a frosh to develop behind Beers. Injuries, bad luck, bad play, the portal, NIL... crap happens. We can certainly have our opinions, but all of it is out of anyone's real control. If one gets riled up at every negative turn in life... well, that's a miserable existence. Same with teams we root for... let's see how it plays out. Definitely a player retention priority list that didn't age well for any OSU WBB fan. Beers is commonly listed now as one of the the top three transfer portal players on most NCAA D1 lists throughout major media sources. Gardiner is typically listed around #6 to #8. TVO has made a few Top 10 WBB portal lists as well. Three major reasons why a healthy and complete returning OSU WBB squad had a chance to make another deep tournament run in '24-'25.

Looks like Van Lith is headed to TCU. They’ll be really solid - Conner, Van Lith, Cavinder, Prince, and possibly Hunter.

Hunter being on a team that has Hailey Van Lith, would be a far different situation for her than the the 2023-24 OSU WBB team. Doubtful that Hunter would be 'in charge' to the extent that she was in her Freshman season in Corvallis. Van Lith is the model for the current version of "One and Done" in women's college hoops.

Is there a reason, other than a substantial NIL fund, TCU would be able to attract high level talent to their WBB program?
If we take NIL out of the equation -what does TCU have to offer a top level WBB player?
I know some of you follow a wide range of teams throughout the country - so I'm curious: what is your take on this? Thanks.... GO BEAVS!!
