I guess in the coming year I am looking forward to the articles that invariably get published about the new arrivals in the programs that they land in.....like what we learned about the Arkansas transfers, the Texas transfer, the Australia returnees, the Duke transfers, the Georgia Tech transfer...... These young ladies have every right to live their lives, and leverage their talents as they see fit, but I do admit to being curious about the seeming bomb that went off in Albany (NY), or shortly thereafter. And I am curious to see what these young ladies chose to value over what is here. Now, as to what is here, I have a very fifth or sixth or tenth hand view of things, and I suspect these ladies will be smart enough not to comment on whatever "dead moose on the table" there might be in our program (IF there is any). But they will make some of their reasoning visible, and I will admit I am curious. I've conducted workplace exit interviews, and the feedback you get is usually "edited for TV audiences" so you have to infer, read between the lines, and decide how valid the comments you get are, but you also learn more as time goes by, and by watching their LinkedIn profiles - same thing I suspect here. Go Beavers! " I am looking forward to the articles that invariably get published about the new arrivals in the programs that they land in..." I'm looking quite a bit MORE forward to the articles about the new arrivals in the OSU WBB program. The program is a class act (re: Sydney Wiese's eloquent post), and until I see a reason to focus otherwise, I'm looking ahead to see what/who the Beavers pull together for the 2024-25 WBB season. Being a sports fan should be fun...not a cause for depression. College players only have 3-4 years to make their mark. Professional athletes, depending on which sport, have +/- a decade (football much less). Fans have over a half-Century to do their 'thing'. Enjoy the ride!

Jeez, are they even gonna have a competitive WCC team at this rate? Gonzaga will be in rebuilding mode but they've been consistent for 15 years or something. I was really underwhelmed by the conference in general last year, but the Beavs are down to what, 5 players at best now? Marotte, Shuler, Yepes, Rees and Heide. That could be a decent starting 5 but you obviously need more players, and that's assuming nobody else leaves.

As far as I can tell, nothing remotely like this is happening at Washington St.

Comparing the WSU 2023-24 roster to the Beavers 2023-24 roster isn't Apples to Oranges...it's more like Razor Clams to Zen Nirvana. They are not in the same universe. WSU already HAD a sorta-WCC roster.

Beaver Nation is looking for leadership in this time of darkness. It is time for Rurek to make some kind of a public statement. At least acknowledging what has happened and that he has a plan going forward.

Wazzu and their WCC roster did pretty well in the 2 seasons prior to this one. Finished well ahead of OSU in each of those seasons.
