Well, not the same, but Stanford is in rebuild mode as well. Lost their top 3 scorers now. Leading returner is Bosgana, that won't be striking fear into anyone. Plus lost a legendary coach.

Phenomenal talent - hope she ends up somewhere I can root for her I am clearly not the "sharpest knife in the drawer" however for the life of me I can not comprehend why someone would leave before completing college at Stanford (enlighten me if she has already graduated please) given that statistics indicate on the average a
Stanford grad earns large amounts more money than other school. Also that there team is still in a power 5 conference which they would have a great chance to win with her in the lineup. Is there so sort of "fantasy" drug that is being distributed to these women!!!

Nowhere near the Elite 8 of the NCAA tournament. Not even in the same universe. And the portal is still open. Certainly, but those first three I mentioned are as good as any of our guards not named von Oelhoffen and (maybe) Hunter. So, they'd be our third guard? Or fourth, also behind Dom? WSU had a nice team. We had an elite team. |

Wazzu and their WCC roster did pretty well in the 2 seasons prior to this one. Finished well ahead of OSU in each of those seasons. We're not talking about 2022 or 2023. Their 2024 team was nowhere near as good as ours. |

WSU had a nice team. We had an elite team. OK? that doesn’t mean they had a WCC-level roster. We were horrible a year ago with Beers, von Oelhoffen, and Gardiner and we didn’t have a WCC level roster. |

We were horrible a year ago with Beers, von Oelhoffen, and Gardiner and we didn’t have a WCC level roster. We're just going to disagree, no big deal. We are losing players because they have been contacted by P5 schools and they will have an opportunity to play at that level. WSU doesn't, except for the player who is already in the portal. It's that simple. |

I was hoping Paurova would stay. I think she is going to be really good down the line. I wonder if she will get any bites from any elite power 4 teams.

Yeah I agree. If I had a kid (a lifelong Beaver fan) that had an opportunity to get a scholarship to both Stanford and OSU, I would be all in on 'furd. |
