We have a 7-2 lead after five innings. The only way we lose is if our bullpen doesn't throw strikes.
So, we walk or hit five guys over the next 2.2 innings. Three of them score. Northridge has life.
Unacceptable. The first key to pitching is throwing strikes. If you can't do it at this level you have no business playing.

The weather is terrible, there is marginal calls and its the 4th game of the series. Its not that weird and doesn't mean much in the long run.

Holmes in to get an out, would be save for him (2nd of the series).
Hope he can throw that filthy slider in the rain.

I'm not playing at the DI level. They are. Pitchers are taught to throw strikes from the day they start pitching. It's a constant at EVERY level. And it's not the weather. We walked or hit five guys on Thursday and again on Friday, when it was dry and warm. And with a three-run lead we just walked another guy and hit another to bring the winning run to the plate, so that's 18 walked or hit this weekend, 18 free bases. You might be OK with that. I'm not, we're going to be playing much better teams than CSUN and won't be able to get away with it like we did this weekend.
