This is a cold, miserable night. There is no motivation to even be on the diamond. In a perfect world, we have heightened focus every inning of every game. This is not a perfect world. This is a 'dog days' game. As a Beav fan I am disappointed, as a sports fan I am not surprised or bothered. This is true, but NDSU has the same conditions, and so far they have outpitched, outhit, and outplayed the Beavers in every other aspect. And, really, the starting pitcher for NDSU showed the kryptonite for Beaver bats. Biggest series/game they will play all year...by far. That will get you warmed up. Honestly, it is just human nature. It happens. |

Man watching by stat broadcast sucks. Been stalled on 2-2 count for Baz for like 6 minutes. Delay…..again. It’s not the statcast’s fault. Home plate ump got hit on the hand by an inside pitch. They are going to replace him probably with one of the base umps. |

Injured ump didn't come back out. 3rd base ump now behind the plate. Only 2 on bases.

I know it's an early season game but ndsu is a bad team. No excuse to lose to them. It would be like the beav men's basketball team beating arizona.....in tucson. The last time we played NDSU was 2014. It was 1-1 until Dylan Davis homered in the 7th, and it finished that way. It’s fair to say that NDSU comes to play and should not be overlooked. But yes, we are supposed to win these. |
