I know it's an early season game but ndsu is a bad team. No excuse to lose to them. It would be like the beav men's basketball team beating arizona.....in tucson.

Baseball doesn't work like any other sport. Sometimes an enture linup slumps. If we played NDSU 50 times we'd still probably lose 7 to 10 games. |

This is a cold, miserable night. There is no motivation to even be on the diamond. In a perfect world, we have heightened focus every inning of every game. This is not a perfect world. This is a 'dog days' game.
As a Beav fan I am disappointed, as a sports fan I am not surprised or bothered.

This is true, but NDSU has the same conditions, and so far they have outpitched, outhit, and outplayed the Beavers in every other aspect. And, really, the starting pitcher for NDSU showed the kryptonite for Beaver bats. |
