Talavs in to pitch. Don't know a thing about him accept his high school stats are absurd.

Is it just me or does it seem like all of our pitchers except Hunter is throwing mid 90's+ this year?

I go from full worry mode about Beaver command on the mound for the first 2 games to seeing positive command these last 2 games. I give Hunter a pass because of rust.

You beat me to it Zero. The guys who have shown their stuff the last two games are very impressive. Not to knock former beavs but it seems like the bottom of the bullpen has really improved from Quinn and Grewe.

Dorman definitely has a “type”. 6’4” 210 has to be our average pitcher. Only 2 are shorter than 6’. And I would guess all but 2 or 3 throw +90

It just seems like we have pushed to the average fastball being in the 92 range with off speed stuff at like 80. Hutch just went 77 on his offspeed and im pretty sure he can go low 90s on his fastball? Come on man.

Not concerned with Jared's outing today. As mentioned above, because of his injury it has been 10 months since he pitched, and that's a long time. Command is his deal and today he was wild and never looked like he found his rhythm - his "groove" just wasn't there. Give him a few innings and it will all fall into place. His history is about throwing strikes and inducing weak ground outs.
