Kind of sick they walk Baz to get to Guerra. Guerra is having a rough time getting started. I agree Krieg is a much better at 1st.

Holmes coming in for relief. I believe he's the low slot guy that our best hitters say is hard to hit.

Pitching order for future. Assuming Hunter is good to go and we keep the same rotation Arlington will be; May vs TTech Kmatz vs Arkansas Segura vs Michigan Hunter vs OkayState Honestly I like it. May coming back on shorter rest, early season, fairly high pitch count in the opener, Canham-Casey history to some extent of not bringing pitchers on with short rest during the regular season—May might be held until Friday. There have been obvious exceptions on the starter rest, but May, with a little history of arm problem being gives me doubt. May matching up with Arkansas is my preference. If he's going to be our starter he needs to comfortable against top tier teams.

Holmes first pitch is a beauty. Dribbles out in front of the mound and he scoops it and easily gets the lead runner at 3rd!

Holmes has very nice motion, I can see why he gives batters fits. Easily takes care of the 2 on no out jam. Caraway puts it away with a nice defensive play.

Wow! Holmes 94 mph FB and then 81 mph slider with a nasty break. Guy looks like a closer!

Nice plays at third. Pitches around the plate today are a big positive. Only problem is that the Bakersfield guy is also nailing his pitches.

Based on this tiny sample the guys that look most like a closer to me is Keljo or Holmes. Guessing Keljo stays situational since we lack lefties.

Alright, hopefully we get a new pitcher from them, this guy has been so solid through 6.

Caraway bunts on and advances Smith after a nice single! 1 out with Baz up.
Bakersfield was definitely not expecting a bunt from the frosh 3rd baseman in the 9 hole, no one covered.
