FWIW, I've heard (from a second-hand source) that this is a concussion protocol situation.

Lily, Timea and Adlee need to have break out games. WHEN they do, it’ll send a notice to Raegan that she doesn’t need to return before she’s ready. This is a deep team! Timea? I'm not sure what you are saying. Has she not had a break out game? Good point. Maybe break out game as a starter.

FWIW, I've heard (from a second-hand source) that this is a concussion protocol situation. Not surprised. She was very wobbly. My wife and I both speculated that could be the case when watching. Maybe why she didn't come back out 2nd half on Sunday?.......don't want to overstimulate the brain if you are concussed.

I’d deduce from that that there was no jaw or teeth damage. To my knowledge they don’t serve puréed pizza there.

definitely concussion protocol. Not saying she has one, but the ear plugs she was wearing on sunday was for that reason. I've had a couple while playing sports and had to wear ear plugs to keep noise from making it worse. Like I said, I have no idea if she has one, or is just trying to limit some symptoms, but it's probably smart to go through the protocol just in case.

I noticed that Oregon State's athletic training staff has recent experience in this area, as Dexter has been wearing a mask this season. I don't find details of his actual injury though:

We need her for both games. Her presence is critical for both games. Her offense and defense are key to our game.

Can’t take Washington for granted. They beat USC and lost to Stanford in OT.

The NBA concussion protocol is at least 7 days.
Steps: 1. Back to school (light activities). 2. Light aerobic activities. 3. Moderate activities. 4. Heavy, non-contact activities. 5. ok to practice full contact. 6. Ok to play.
Depends of course on how bad the concussion was.

Can’t take Washington for granted. They beat USC and lost to Stanford in OT. Right before the Stanford game, they lost at home to Utah and Colorado by 18 and 23. They got swept by Cal AND Arizona St. this year. They have won 2 games in 2024. Current 6 game losing streak and have lost 8 of 9. They aren't good, I have no idea how they beat USC.
