DiMaggio and Monroe. I'm trying to think of an example of a female athlete and an actor. I'm striking out. The closest I can think of is Mia Hamm and Nomar Garciappara.

Well before the current NFL duo... the Beckhams spanned the same popularity in his sport. Posh and David were quite the thing at one time. Then J.Lo and Alex were big for a while. Kim and Reggie Bush not so big, but were on the map a lot. Gisele and Tom were also quite big... and seemed to be constantly mentioned for years. Other "minor leaguers": Russell and Ciara, Upton and Verlander, Wade and Union, Underwood and Fisher, Soccer fans know Pique and Shakira, and the weirdo Decker twosome... |

Durocher and Larraine Day, who was quite famous in her day. Doris Day and Maurey Wills. Babe Didrickson and the dude she married, he was a wrestler or something. Alex Karras and actress Susan Clark. Ralph Kiner was married to a famous person, can't remember who a skater or skier.

They married in 1951, and Chaffee was the #4-rated tennis player in the world that year. Kiner and Chaffee had three children together. They divorced in 1968. |

Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles.  Perhaps not quite the same high profile on the football player, but the wife is certainly well known. I can think of a LOT of "minorly" famous athlete/wife couples in my head right now. The rarified air of Kelce/Swift is a different story. |

Just to set the record straight I got nothing against Taylor Swift. She can sel out every venue she performs at. Hope she continues with her success. But when I'm watching a football game I'd rather watch something football related, much like a Taylor swift fan would want to watch the concert and not a view of kelce ten times in his suite at herconcert.
