This game tells me two things. It's easier to recruit to a metropolitan area like Pullman. And wazoos nil collective is huge. That must be it.

Good fight. IF Bilodeau doesn’t struggle, we had a real shot. W/O Akanno, it was needed. Let’s steal one in Seattle.

It sucks we lost. But I feel much better than I did a month ago. Everything went against us this game, yet we still had a chance to win a road game with 30 seconds left. Akanno plays . . . we win. Rataj and Bilodeau make the shots they should . . . we win. If Marial helped a little . . . you get the picture. Another positive is 14 min for Lake, 7 for Marrs, 8 for Craig, 10 for Stevens, and 13 for Ndong. Those minutes would have been better in November, but we didnt because those games were must wins and we skipped some development.

Needed to find an answer for Cluff who is a very average upperclassman.
Then no answer for the shooter with a Polish name.
Missing Dex was huge
Not being up 15 at half after WSU had legitimately the worst shooting half I’ve seen in a long time…..
Definitely could have stolen a road win tonight

It was a tough night for Tyler, he missed some shots he usually makes and I think the downward spiral started. Mike had good looks that he usually hits that just didn’t go down. KC was great, Chol had a Mr. Hyde game……tinkle had no choice but to give Thomas and Gavin some time. I liked what I saw from Ndong and Marrs. You can tell they don’t trust either one with the ball much on offense, and like you said, some more minutes in November in games we should have won much more easily would have gone a long way to giving them some better offensive feel. I will say, for a kid who never plays to get an alley oop like he’s done it a thousand times was pretty encouraging

He led NJCAA in shooting percentage at Cochise State. Cochise State went 58-7 over the last two years. Andrej Jakimovski. 4* recruit from Macedonia. Wazzu beat out Boston College, Davidson, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, Utah, and Utah State. Wazzu did not have a spot for him, and Jakimovski entered the portal, and Jakimovski signed with Loyola Maryland. Kim Aiken transferred to Arizona, though, which opened up a spot for Jakimovski, and Jakimovski came back to Wazzu.

I know this is D1 but practice and playing around? I think I've done it 100 times (40 years ago, 8' hoop, mini basketball).
