Can’t stand EITHER of them. I’m watching, but UT (sec bound) and uw (big….what-the-f%#*-ever bound) can kiss my ass.

Caleb Williams is obviously very good but if I was an NFL exec I'd take penix.

How does uw winning or losing affect the pac2 financially? Anybody know? Rather root against them. Pac12 $, split 12 ways... $6 mil for UW in semi (no extra for final) $4 mil for Oregon NY6 bowl +$300k for each school meeting NCAA APR standards Possible $13.6 mil split 12 ways for just CFP payout.

Caleb Williams is obviously very good but if I was an NFL exec I'd take penix. scouting report negatives: one speed thrower, trouble with touch balls, half a tick slow to pull the trigger on his progressions. I like what I’ve seen tonight, ball seems to jump out of his hand

"[N]o extra" is not technically accurate. The two conferences receive $2.74+ million (that was the number last year) to play in the National Championship Game. That money is supposed to defray "additional expenses" but usually wildly exceeds the "additional expenses." There is an additional $2.74+ million payout for both Oregon and Washington this year already, as well on top of the $6 million and $4 million numbers that are usually quoted. So, there is a financial incentive to the Pac-12 for Washington to win, but it is in the order of $2.74+ million less whatever Washington would spend for the Championship Game. That may ultimately not wind up being a ton of money, but it is probably more than an additional typical bowl game.

Washington currently is on a 20-game winning streak, the longest current streak in FBS. The Huskies' only win by less than three points in that time period was the 22-20 win in Corvallis. A full-strength Oregon State was the closest to toppling Washington in the past 64 weeks.
