still hasn’t stopped any team. I don’t know the number of transfers or opt outs for USC. They also have a new, incoming DC, but that first Louisville drive looked like the usual USC defense. The Big 10 will be cruel to USC if the DC doesn’t create a miraculous turnaround. I would like to see the fans in the stadium because the parts they have shown show a lot of empty seats.

USC defense does look the same. I know Trojans are excited about getting their new DC who they stole from UCLA. He did a great job there. He'll have better talent at USC.

I think USC got a stop on this last drive. Replay may show different. Live, I thought bad spot.

Not impressed with USC even after that bowl game. They never play up to the level they recruit at.

It was driving me nuts how undisciplined, poorly coached, or just not-football-smart their defensive players were. Pursuit angles time and again were terrible. The guy responsible for outside contain, time and again allowed runner outside instead of containing and forcing him to cut inside towards the defensive numbers. There seemed to be some improvement in the second half, but the first half I didn't see a defense, I saw a bunch of individuals doing their own thing and not doing it very well at that.

And really I blame the INT on Riley for being greedy with the play call and going right back to the pass in compressed field situation.

Yet, with no DC, some key opt outs, and vs a high powered ranked team held Louisville to under their per game total yards. Stiffled their passing attack, caused turnovers & sacks vs a vet offense/QB. And...most importantly knocked off the #15 ranked team. So provides us a another "notch" up when we beat ND!
