The much improved USC defense

It was driving me nuts how undisciplined, poorly coached, or just not-football-smart their defensive players were.   Pursuit angles time and again were terrible.  The guy responsible for outside contain, time and again allowed runner outside instead of containing and forcing him to cut inside towards the defensive numbers. 

There seemed to be some improvement in the second half, but the first half I didn't see a defense, I saw a bunch of individuals doing their own thing and not doing it very well at that.
