Sounds like he was pretty puckered.
He was arrested on the charges of DUII, Reckless Driving, and Hit & Run.
Police say Delgado was driving a BMW and crashed into a pillar at the 13th and Olive apartments, then crashed into several garage walls before leaving the scene saying he wanted to go to Taylor's Bar and Grill.
Once a duck, always a duck.

I think thunder's post was more about the Eugene media than the kid's arrest. They seem to have a habit of covering for kids in that town - media, police and university administration.

So stoned is better? My point remains. True. But he wasn't intoxicated. And stoned probably is better, you are typically not as aggressive and drive much slower. Or so I remember from 40years ago.

Intoxicated is intoxicated. Drunk drivers tend to driver slower than normal people, as well. No one should be driving on the road under the influence of alcohol or marijuana.
