I would absolutely love to have Syd back at Oregon State. I'm just not sure she is ready to retire from playing or if coaching is her next step. |

I presume OSU could match her Basketball income. Right? (I'm not sure what salary she could negotiate.)
She could help the program in many ways even if she is not ready to be a top flight coach.
She would help recruiting, she would be a great PR rep for the program and the university.
She has name recognition. She has connections - she knows a ton of WNBA connected players, coaches.
She has good media skills....And every day at practice she would be the best player on the floor by a distance.
It's almost July and Rueck is one bad recruiting year away having the weakest roster since his arrival....
Maybe Syd could help kick-start an influx of talent into the program -- because there sure is not much in it now.
