Talia was as assist machine TVO filled the stat sheet. 7 points 7 rebounds 8 assists 3 steals She is doing what we need her to do when we need her to do it. She even took over the point when she felt it was needed. She is going to quietly lead this team for the next two years, leading by example. |

She is going to quietly lead this team for the next two years, leading by example. Who did we play……this wasnt a test. It was a good freshman game only the freshmen didn’t play hardly at all. The other way to look at this is look who is coming to these games? ! Maybe die hards are here 3700 isnt bad. But the program has lost alot of crown. What happened with the pre season game where we invited kids all over the state. Did we do thst this year. I dont recall. Did that happen this year? I have gone to alot if those and the place is packed usually. Anyways remember we asked who would start this year. I predicted reese and beers donovon specifically. No one saw that coming contray to everyone saying gardiner was all world i new she wouldnt start over reese. I was right. How did i know that. Because im no dummy. ^🤡 If we had played all freshmen and won by 35 and had 9000 in attendance you’d be beeching about something else. |

Once again the live stream is awful. 5 minutes of game time and no one notices the radio feed is turned off. Not only that, there was no radio link on the app - a common occurence. I had hoped to listen to the pregame show. It happened a lot last year too. Pretty poor performance. I suspect it's the same people who run the ticket office and the seat donation department. |

The last 2 years, when Talia wasn't on the floor, you wondered where the points were going to come from. So far this year, that question doesn't come up. So she's not pressing for shots as she had to in the past. She is obviously the leader of this team and the face of Oregon State athletics. It's a very good thing that there is no pressure on her to put up 20 every night. She has plenty on her plate as it is. Just being able to play in the rhythm of what the game will give to you is really good for her. She's a hell of a rebounder too, isn't she? |

She is also picking up some loose balls and collecting a steal here and there. |

I am really bored and tired of the namby-pamby non-conference schedule OSU rolls out year after year. Rolling up the score and compiling wins against a plethora of weak opponents proves nothing. It is not testing-teaching the players how to play tough and stay cool under pressure nor challenging them to maximize their intensity, effort, and focus. Compare OSU's weak schedule to the schedules of Stanford, South Carolina, UCONN, etc. Yes, OSU would have to leave the friendly confines of Gill and travel east a few more times, but it would be worth it...games with real meaning and better national recognition and publicity.
