This is an interesting one, neutral site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Huskers vs. Beavers in the Sanford Sports Pentagon, capacity 3,250. Home of the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA G League.
The Beavers hit the road and face the feisty Cornhuskers. The two are separated by over a hundred spots in KenPom, with NU at 53 while Oregon State's all the way down at 169. I hope that's not accurate.
Current point spread is 8.
Which Beaver team shows up today?
So far, it's been the Tyler and Pope show. KC Ibekwe doesn't need to dominate, but the Beavers could use 10 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks from the big man who's flashed at least that much potential.

Current point spread is 8. Which Beaver team shows up today? At the risk of being picky, it isn’t NU (Nebraska University). It is Universally of Nebraska. OK, on to the game. This is a game for which I really wish Rataj was healthy. I think Brice Williams and Juwan Gary are going to be tough matchups for the Beavs. His size would be nice to have today. I think the center matchup could prove pivotal too. Watched some highlights of Neb against Rider and Stony Brook and while competition wasn’t great and they were highlights, Rienk Mast looks to be a pretty skilled big. He is a very good passer and I put the over/under for back cut layups by Tominaga from Mast at 1.5. Wonder if WT will go zone more in this game to combat Nebby’s size and Mast’s passing. Go Beavs. |

I see problems all over the place for the Beavers. It's gonna start with the perimeter defense and Dexter, CW and Pope extending and defending. On offense, if the Beavs can shoot like they did in first half against App State, I think we can hang with Huskers.

Go Beavs. I'll be pickier. You are quite right that they are the University of Nebraska. However, they call themselves "NU." "Nebraska U" is even in their fight song. |

We don't yet have a very good team and this is our first "real" opponent....and essentially a road game from how Warren is describing the crowd. Kind of expected. |
