Beavs lead went from 46 (23-69 ) down to 30 (44-74) got outscored 21 to 5 in that stretch. They're trying to make sure they win by less than 30. |

That pass by Adlee was an absolute rocket and it's nice to see that Heide not only made a solid catch but has some shooting touch.

Well, Paurova is fast and can push the ball. But it's obvious she's clearly still in the learning process.
Hunter is playing like a veteran two games into her freshman season.
Shuler doesn't seem to be fazed by college ball either
Nice game by Gardiner. Another step in the right direction for her.
Nice game by TVO as well. Business as usual for Beers.
Rees is a big addition. I would like to see her do a little better offensively but she fills a key role.
I think we will continue to see a fair amount of Lily as long as she hits her 3s.
Marotte is an enigma to me. She looks like a star for a game and then sort of disappears. Very inconsistent.
Not sure where Adlee fits in right now. I really believe she can bring a lot to the table but I think Rueck probably wants more out of her on defense (or at least a better understanding of what she needs to do on D).

Attendance was 3,836 - up some every game. Fear they'll kinda kill that, however, with a game on Thanksgiving Eve. That's a strange bit of scheduling.

Good summary. Having a point guard like Hunter can make a huge difference in a team's success. I am hopeful. Even with Beers, she might become the face of WBB. But, that goes with being the floor leader. Let's see what happens when pressure and adversity come her way.
And AJ, I attended one of her first games at OSU and thought she was great. Then she wasn't. Then she was. I like her skills a lot. Agree with your assessment.

If she did, the official box score is wrong. They have her w/ 9 now. She had a 3 and a 2 point bucket in the 3rd quarter. Starts were off. She is 5/5 and 1/1 free throws as it shows on stats as shows 4:34 to go You know what, you must be referring to Shuler and I was talking about TVO, that's why the numbers weren't jiving. |
