Just a reminder that we're playing the Zags in a double header this weekend in Bend.

Beautiful day at Vince Genna. I'll post some pics when I get home.

Interesting hitting lineup for the Zags....10 batters! No lie!

Caraway is an enormous frosh. He looks like he's a burrito and day in the weight room from a full grown man.

Laif Palmer in. Skinny as a rail but good velocity mostly out of a 3/4 arm slot. First batter he came from behind on a 3-1 to get the out. Great potential.

First look so there is that, buyback Hainline has impressed. Shortstop arm and range. Saw his power and speed on the bases.

Had to leave in the 6th but I'm not seeing a team that downgraded. Probably the only spot that's really dropped off is first because Forrester is a beast.
Hainline looked solid and comfortable. Turley's swing is more efficient and he did draw atleast one walk. Caraway looks very big and natural at third, plenty of arm and decent AB, I think he walked twice? Centerfield may end up competitive, Reeder still looks a bit raw to be a full-time starter but it is October.
May looked alright but I thought Meijas looked nice and Palmer is a guy with a lot of potential.
One thing is for sure, pitchers will have nowhere in the order to hide. Probably the weakest slot is catcher with Smith and he hit a solo shot.

Legs look healthy. I was concerned about his throwing shoulder last half of last season. MY bet on why he wasn’t drafted as well.

Lawson with 4 free passes to start game 2. 2 wild pitches for runs. Ouch.
