So DBar must be remaining the volunteer assistant. Probably fits his family situation better.
Or some kind of change is coming up.

DBar going to be dipping his toes in younger levels of ball in the coming future is what I've heard....and he'll be exceptional at it

DBar is no longer on the website as a coach. Maybe he's found a pro job or found the daily drive from the Portland burbs to be too taxing. He has four kids and has enough money to not work and spend more time with his family.
He'd be a great HS coach, if that's what you're intimating.

Sorry to see Barney no longer with the program, but Wong is a more than able replacement.
Living In LO and working in Corvallis for sure must have been hard on DB and his family.

Joey lost his monster beard! He was killing it at the Elks games.

I remember when Joey's dad was a volunteer coach for da Beavs back during the 2005-2007 run.
Nothing Wong with dat!

I don’t know if it’s the right or Wong decision

Sounds like AD Barnes is starting to tighten the belt already.

Sounds like AD Barnes is starting to tighten the belt already. Darwin was a volunteer and so is Wong. Doesn't really affect the bottom line.

With an expanded football stadium and men’s & women’s basketball not bringing in as much revenue as in the past, I’m thinking Barnes made the decision not to fund the 3rd baseball coach well before the conference fell apart
