Not really - a big portion of the schools that were a part of it are gone - it has to be renamed and rebranded anyway. I agree with the concept of time to grieve - but for me - time's up. Time to move on. |

Not really - a big portion of the schools that were a part of it are gone - it has to be renamed and rebranded anyway. I agree with the concept of time to grieve - but for me - time's up. Time to move on. I'm sort of upset that we didn't hear something from the Pac or from OSU about the future. 4 schools are drowning their sorrows and/or pissed off and/or in severe depression (or most likely, all of the above) and a word of hope would go a long way right about now. |

Agreed - the remaining leaders of the conference had better get out in front of this real soon, or there will be long term damage to the fan bases, and possibly more portal defections, the longer we feel that we are just hanging in limbo. Even if a deal isn't done, there are things you can say/ do that shows you are engaged and working on it. |

I bet there's a LOT of scrambling in the league offices and the offices of the 4 schools going on. There have been statements released. The other day has been a year in the making, gonna take some time to sort this all out. |

Unfortunately, President Murthy - AFTER the damage was done - wrote in a letter to the campus, "We believe the preservation of the Pac-12 is in the best interests of all member universities, student-athletes and fans."It was too late to use the word "preservation" but apparently someone in the messaging department doesn't understand how words work. Hard to be in front of something after you've firmly planted yourself way behind it. |

You don’t win at chess (or much else) not predicting your opponent’s move. The fact that this has been looming for so damned long only makes it all look worse. How ever much these idiots are being paid, it’s way too much. |
