This will be a day that will forever live in infamy. I’ve never had much respect for hole, but they are now dead to me. What they have done is beyond the pale. OSU should never schedule any competition with that POS school. We must win the conference this year. And remember that the last civil war will be played in Reser next year. I say break protocol and don’t allocate them any seats. f%#* them. "Next year" is 2024... there will be no CW in Reser if the ucks are in the B10. At least there will be an eternal winning streak against o at Reser. |

I highly doubt they'll agree to games at Reser because they're B1G and we're Mountain West. As a matter of fact, expand this to all the sports. Have the baseball series this coming spring as the last regularly scheduled games with o. |

The SEC will now eat what it wants from the ACC and possibly B12, the B12 will take what it wants from the Pac/Mwest to try to survive, and the rest will form a D2 like division where we all travel around and get bent over for survival money by whatever team will pay is the most.
Three 20 team super conferences are what is likely going to happen, and I don't think OSU or WSU will be invited.
Football won't survive, basketball has been dead for years, and baseball will slowly fade from relevance as we remember what once was. It has happened to many before, it's our turn now.

Don't play it at all. Barnes said he would not schedule UCLA, USC in the future after they bolted. We're going to make an exception for the second group of bolters?

We'll host them in the 12 team playoff, work them over good. Embarrass them on their :45 bus ride home as their season comes to an end. Odds are uo will rarely, and possibly never, make the playoffs as a member of the Big 10. |

That would be a decent FB/BB/Baseball/softball/gymnastics league.

There is talk of Stanford football going independent. They probably see themselves as too elite to be in a conference with academic lowlifes such as BSU, Fresno State and Wyoming

I do not see any media deal with 1/2 the new league being MWC teams being $20mil/team when they now get about $4-5 mil. There is no motivation for Apple or any company to payout that much for that lineup. This would be a nice "little" league and could be very competitive in one game NC games vs the "big" conferences, but it just does not have the TV pull to keep OSU's budget as it is. Plus I believe the MWC has an exit fee and grant in rights provision that each exiting MWC school would face. And, then the remaining MWC teams would be left in the lurch as all their major components are gone. Each conference has their own SOPs, but in my quick research the Pac12 is the only one that does not have an exit fee based on the conference, nit an expiring TV deal. |
