Why don’t you summarize it for your self. Thought you’d know how to click a link. Guess not. LOL Well, aren't you a font of information! Sorry I bothered to expect a little more effort in the post. But to each his own. I don't think Canzano has any information that hasn't already been hashed over and rehashed, so I'll take a pass. Ok if you don’t care what he thinks then why reply asking. Someone to spell it out for you. Are we grown ups here or 12?

Yes, we are adults, and some of us are busy adults who don't want to listen to a 30 minute episode when a fellow fan probably already had and could give the highlights. What was so wrong with me asking that you had to get so pissy?

Now we are Nine Saving hope is key schools figure it is easier to get the playoffs in the pac 10-12 than in a 20 team conference...

Arizona has all but signed the dotted line. That's expected later tonight.
ASU and Utah backed down at the last minute but are still leaning towards leaving. Expect that to be resolved in a couple of days at most.
UW has a regents meeting at 9PM that should indicate whether they go with B1G or not at $30-$40 million (the reported offer).
No word from Uo that I've seen.
Some sort of tweaks done to Apple deal? Or new details? Anyhow, Pac X is having one last meeting to try and win people over with the deal. ASU has delayed until they hear that.
Still looking shady. I guess the one positive is that B1G didn't want Cal or Stanford. That leaves OSU, WSU, Cal and Stanford needing to add 2 teams just to stay alive and 4 teams for some reason I can't recall, with a maximum of 10.

Washington and Oregon also both want the Big 10 to subsidize their travel to the tune of about $10 million a year.

If those four can stick together than maybe...maybe you can steal away SDSU, UNLV, Fresno, SJSU, Boise, Nevada, and CSU for the Pac as opposed to being absorbed by MWC. Keep it as regional and big market as possible.

All the main reporters have changed the tune this morning - reporting the conference may sign a grant of rights deal this AM. Here's hoping!

Looks as if we're gonna survive. Now it's time for the league's FB programs to start kicking some OOC ass, starting with the Big fu##### 12.

Ehh...don't want to rain on everybody's parade, but even the Oregonian beat reporter this morning said, via their sources, that UofO would accept a B1G invite, regardless of money involved. They've gotten a B1G invite, so I don't see this stopping defections. The only way this would work if Uo/Uw do decide to leave is if Apple and other partners honor their offer with different people plugged in, but even then you'd have to get to 40-50% linear to satisfy Arizona. I think more likely this prevents ASU and Utah from going, but Uo, Uw, and AZ have all indicated they are out the door (well, Uw contingent upon Uo).

Latest. Arizona won’t budge. Deal is almost dead now. Without them ore wash. Will leave. Damn so close, thanks Zona because ore wash was in for staying. Zona wanted more from pac.
Update; Big 10 now has an emergency meeting scheduled for today.

If it really was Arizona alone, I think they would've jettisoned them and then taken on an additional expansion school. I still think it's Uo/Uw as well.

Thamel just tweeted ore and Washington in talks again with Big 10. Oregon wants to stay in pac to get easier path to playoffs. But I guess Washington has some huge debt issues coming up driving towards the big 10 now. Oregon does not care as much about the money side but won’t stay without Washington. Stay tuned. Very fluid right now.
