We either need Stanford to go 2-0 or 0-2. Wrong. Stanford losing to Cal means all Beavs have to do is beat ASU and they are in. Stanford loses to Cal, they are 0-1, Cal is 1-1....then no matter the outcome of the Oregon/Stanford game, Beavs are in with a 1-1 record. Stanford wins, all 3 teams are 1-1, and Stanford wins the pool and are in. Stanford loses, they are 0-2, hole 2-0 and wins and Beavs at 1-1 would get wildcard. I’m tracking you now. Regardless, of how Stanford does it, we need them to win their pool. So the result tonight is essentially meaningless. We just need them to beat Oregon. |

It's not that hard people.... If Beavs 1-1 1) Get in by winning pool - so beat UofA, lose to ASU, all 1-1, win the pool 2) Get in by Stanford winning their pool - so all 3 teams 1-1 (thus Stanford beats hole, loses to Cal) or Stanford 2-0 3) Get in by Stanford not winning their pool - 0-2 rgeorge and his quick opinions says NOT to one of those 4 things, but it's hard to argue with math, but he can try It was not an opinion... it is a fact... 2-0 Furd assures a 1-1 OSU a spot. I was in Costa Rica until late last night. Hence, going on your intial post and no results from last night. My post is actually accurate... correct? |

You should win alot of games scoring 10. You won't win many games giving up 12. Hitting is not the problem.

Obviously you did... to actually correct/update you initial incorrect post. In not taking last nights game into consideration, 2-0 Furd is far more likely. But, since you like to keep score... good for you adding the 2nd post. Completely wrong, I did take last night's game into consideration, the ONLY way the Beavs own their own destiny tomorrow morning if they lose this game is for Stanford to lose tonight....if Stanford wins tonight and Beavs lose today, we wait till 7pm game tomorrow no matter what....
