JUCO:
Doesn’t look like she’ll contribute much at all, unfortunately.

Hmmmmmm. This one confuses me (on paper). Coming in with 2 years of elibility (maybe 3). Looking at her stats, only started 10 of 34 games, and nothing on her stat sheet jumps out as to why OSU WBB Coaching staff is bringing on another wing? Unless coaches have her penciled in at the 3/4 with Timea/Lex.
Guess I better get my season tickets renewed so I can see for myself come November.

I think she’s only 5’11 from what I read. Despite not always starting or even getting much time at all in some games, she played 60 minutes in 2 juco national tourney games and scored 28 points on 8 treys. Her Georgia school was the number one team in the country before getting knocked out. Only shot 5-9 all season from the line so we can guess what her offensive game is lol

From Colombia. Only one member on that team was from the U.S. Can’t help wondering about the comparisons between that conference and ours.

This may be a waste of scholarship, hope I am wrong. I was expecting a point guard out of transfer postal. SR always limited up to 13 scholarships but this time may allow 14 if add a PG.
Team can’t win many games without a PG.

Team can’t win many games without a PG. I could be wrong, but from the recent additions, it seems like Rueck is opting to develop the PGs we already have. With the current roster, I could see Pietsch getting some big minutes at the 1 early in the season, with Hunter taking over midway after she has spent some time adjusting to the collegiate level of play. We also have Shuler who will be eager for some point guard minutes. I would love to be surprised by a star PG portal add, but I’m certainly not expecting that to happen.

You people should listen to yourselves. The girl hasn't played a minute and you're already writing her off. This is terribly disrespectful. What players would want to come and play here?

Seems to be a bit of a head scratcher addition at this point---another wing to go along with the 9 other wings we now have on the team??....I'll wait for greybeav or someone else to post some video of her in action to see if we can figure this one out? At this point we are going into next season with 1 backup pg and 2 posts and 10 wings!

Well I think where people are coming from on this is that "on paper" we are giving a P5 scholarship to a juco bench player and not only that she appears to be a wing type and we already have 9 other "wing types" currently signed up for next season!

I'm pro latina so I think it's a good move. Maybe Shakira will do a duet with Callan when it is her senior day. She replaces Aquino as the native Spanish speaker on the team.

Her former team roster, she is #10 www.southgatech.edu/athletics/lady-jets-basketball/roster/#alexia-dizekoOne video so far, not much on this team available, I'll keep looking. This was one, at least from this year. Hard to read the red numbers on dark blue but if you look at 12:50 as they are zoomed in , with warmups on, you will find #10, and see her very long pony tail, which helps ID her during the game IMO.

From the Oregonian:
Yepes averaged 4.6 points and 4.0 rebounds last season for South Georgia TC, which played in the NJCAA national tournament as the No. 1 seed. However, those statistics are skewed, as Yepes played a wide variety of minutes for SGTC, which went 33-2 this season. In her final three games, Yepes averaged 10.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists. In the NJCAA quarterfinal loss to Northwest Florida State, Yepes led South Georgia with 18 points.
Yepes’ South Georgia TC teammate Fanta Gassama recently commited to Arizona.
——The staff sees something, hope it pans out.

All I can find besides the previous one is a really hard to see video from 6 months ago, against MGP and another game against the same opponent, GHC as the first one I posted and on the same floor? This 2nd game against GHC is from feb vs Nov for the first one.
