OSU was one of her final 2 or 3 schools on her list and decided to stay home. Came so close to play for the Beavers. Wish her good luck in the final game.

Oregon State was one of many who offered... her final 3 were Iowa, Iowa State, Notre Dame.

Ionescu vs. Clark. Who you taking?
I'm taking Clark.
1. Quicker, faster foot speed up and down the court, gets to the rim much easier 2. Better shooter. Has longer range. Both can score at all 3 levels, with Ionescu a better mid-range scorer perhaps. Clark's longer range and ability to get to rim gives her edge here. 3. Court awareness. Both are good, but Clark seemingly knows where every player on her team is and where they are going. 4. Passing and assists..again Clark. Her head is always up and can make any pass, ( Larry Bird?) 5. Basketball IQ Both are off the charts! 6. Defense. Neither one is a great defender. 7. Rebounding Ionescu far superior. 8. Team efficiency. Sabrina was the Triple-double Queen of all time. While I don't have statistics in front of me, Ionescu excells here because of her superior rebounding.
I am basing my opinion on collegiate careers of both women. I think Ionescu was surrounded by more talent, Clark had less to play with, but perhaps played for a superior coach. I watched Clark maybe 10 games, so I admit her sample size is less than Ionescu.
Again, just my opinion... What say you?

Clark averages 7.1 for her career and Ionescu averaged 7.3. Clark's team doesn't have much size or rebounding, but she's still pretty darn good at it. Clark's percentages aren't as good from three but she also shoots a lot deeper ones than Ionescu did which I think factors in. I think Clark's quickness and range set her apart from Ionescu.

Attitude and ego go to Clark. When things aren't going right Clark looks inward where i would blame her teammates at times. i had way better teammates, this is not even close. i is still the queen of flops, Clark would bark at the officials but didn't take herself out of the play by flopping nearly as much. Clark is who I would want to build a team around.

Definitely Clark for me. She's like Ionescu, only quicker and a bigger scorer. Ionescu could go off for 25 or 30 now or then, Clark does it pretty much every game. Ionescu's record for triple doubles will probably never be touched, but Clark has quite a few as well. She might finish second all time in that category if she continues her current pace.

Clarks is a much better passer in my view. So many of her assists are can’t miss shots on difficult passes. Maybe I would have enjoyed Ionescu more if not at Oregon, but I just feel Clark’s game is so much more fascinating to watch. And Clark’s range puts much more pressure in the whole team defense.

Clark is just badass! Way to go. Every team should had a player like that who makes everyone else better around her.
And South Carolina some sort sympathy card?

When you're exposed by the other coach, quickly create a strawman and try to change the narrative.
South Carolina's bigs are aggressive, they fight for the ball, no problem with that. But they routinely go over the back and are not called. The person trying to guard Clark early in the game was holding her better than an NFL CB every time she tried to move without the ball.

Well if Clark went to Oregon and Ionescu went to Iowa then I would have picked Ionescu. So I will say Clark in this case too. Any true fan of the the Orange and Black would. Dare anyone else to say otherwise because Clark is the only right answer to give.

She and Geno got into it earlier this season about playing rough and getting away with it. Refs have been accused of letting them get away with to much. Personally I hate that kind of play no matter who it is.

“What if” fantasy time here. Caitlin Clark has two years left if she wants. Imagine if she thinks, “I have done all I can here,” might she move on? She’s had her playing at home experience and now would like to stretch a little bit, and move out to the West Coast. OSU would have a nice nucleus to attach herself to, with Beers as a center to play pick and roll. The portal has influenced my dream world. :-)

I think everyone would be behind that,
