Doesn't a player that declares for wnba draft lose their eligibility to play college ball? Yes... you have to sign away any college eligibility. Any idea how Martinez and Prince declared but also entered the portal?

Yes... you have to sign away any college eligibility. Any idea how Martinez and Prince declared but also entered the portal? I believe "declaring", or eligibility is not "applying". The WBNA site has an application process... part being: "WNBA prospects must notify the league office no later than 10 days before the draft, and must renounce any remaining college eligibility to enter the draft."

According to the wnba to announce draft eligibility a player forfeits any remaining ncaa eligibility.
Maybe they announced portal intentions before declaring for the draft?
