On April 26, 2019, Sellers pitched 1.2 innings for WSU in the 7th and 8th innings of a Beaver blow-out win.
He faced Beaver 2nd baseman Jake Harvey.
On March 10, 2023, Sellers might face Cougar 2nd baseman Jake Harvey.
Greg Fuchs did not play in that game, but Joey Mundt mopped up for the Beavers.

We haven't seen the real Sellers yet.
So far - Friday night stuff - Tuesday night command.
He will get it together.

Trent has 4 good pitches, all of them are strike out pitches but that isn't the issue - as the Friday night starter, it's getting him to the 4th inning consistently.

Sellers is trying too hard to strike everyone out. He's got great stuff, but he's pitching more like a reliever than a starter, same as Abel did the whole season in 2021.

He has hit fewer batters. I think that was a pitching strategy issue in 2021 though. All our pitchers were plunking guys at a high rate. Seem like Dorman was trying to get college talent to pitch like big league prospects with lots of inside stuff.

He has hit fewer batters. More hits, extra base hits, and walks, though. Sellers is averaging throwing 6.00 more pitches a game than 2021 Abel but is logging 4.33 outs per game fewer than 2021 Abel. Other than HBPs, Sellers is out-Abeling 2021 Abel.

It wouldn't surprise me if Sellers thought he would be living "on the edges" - maybe thinking he needed to consistently paint the black. Frankly his pitches are shaped good enough to throw the ball down the middle staying in the bottom half of the zone. Throw your 4 pitches and just stay down in the strike zone. There is plenty of vertical break and sweep to induce weak contact and a lot of whiff.

And maybe the zone is tighter at this level, so he's not getting the calls that he's used to getting. Tonight was better......and it was a conference game!
