Which facet of the game is this team the worse at? Shooting, Passing, Rebounding, or Defending or coaching? This is even a harder question why is Tinkle still coaching? How many more years do we have to endure this? At least our former football coach knew he was terrible gave the money back and resign. His coaching is an embarrassment.

He is going to get one more year to turn it around. No inside knowledge. Just my opinion. Dealing with a roster with nine freshmen will make you take some lumps. Although I will admit they look really awful at times. Just don't see anyway he is gone after this season unless donors come up with a lot of money to cover the existing contract. Whether you believe it was right or not to extend it after the elite eight run. I don't see how you couldn't have extended it after that run.

The worst part is the complete lack of offensive strategy. Just pass it around the arc and dribble a bit. Other team might get bored and lose focus.

Really hard to win if the ball can't find the hoop. Shooting percentage isn't pretty a majority of the time

Agree. He'll get 1 to 2 more years to turn it around. And there's nothing anybody here can do about it.

Here hoping those players that can play stick around but I doubt it.

To seriously answer your question, I'd say passing followed closely by defense. But I have some optimism. Bilodeau, Rataj, and Pope are players. Taylor and Akanno are right behind. If they stick together, get a big, and develop better team defense they could be upper division Pac?? in the 25-26 season. We don't need a great big, Roman Silva would be a huge help to this team.

They could leave. A lot of the other Pac12 schools have MBB NIL money, except OSU.

The offense is really bad when the ENTIRE TEAM manages just 6 assists. (To go w 17 turnovers). There’s too much talent in this team to be that bad against a below average team. Definitely coaching issues per usual

GA didn’t resign because he thought he was a terrible coach.

Definitely coaching issues per usual I’m not sure there’s “too much talent”. The freshmen have potential, but they’re not high level PAC 12 talent. WT will probably get next year. We’ll see if he can keep the freshmen.

After last nights offensive showcase the Beavs are now 343rd in points per game out of 363 teams. So yes it can get worse but not much.

Points per game is not a good indicator of the quality of offense. Tempo or average length of time per possession makes ppg info comparing apples to oranges. For example, this is Virginia's offensive efficiency rankings starting this year and working backward. 24, 85, 17, 234, 2 (championship year), 30 (#1 seed loss year), 50, 8. This year their tempo is ranked #360 out of 363. In those listed years the highest rank for tempo is #348. This year Virginia is averaging 68.7 ppg. OregonState is averaging 62.5 (minus Bushnell).
OregonState's offensive efficiency rankings are as follows, again starting this year. 269, 127, 36 (E8 year), 39, 48, 114, 301, 77 (GPII Senior year), 255. Our defensive rankings for the same period are 175, 320, 60, 165, 150, 102, 194, 66, and 18.
We have more of a defense problem than offense. You are doing poorly when you play in the Pac12 and your overall D1 ranking is triple digits. For example in conference, in the E8 year, our Pac12 offense ranking was 7 and the defense ranking was 9.
Last night Stanford was only 9-26 from three. But they had almost all open looks. We were lucky they were not 14-26. The first priority for this team to get better, this year and in the future, they need to get more stops and play better defense.
All of this data is from KenPom.
