3A DeLasalle beat them in the last day or two. Perhaps Tinkle should focus on recruiting there:)
Does West Linn even have top recruits? I was thinking the top 2024 recruit in Oregon is Maurer and I saw somewhere he was around 150th nationally. Sure it has some good players from time to time, but Oregon may not be a hotbed for recruiting.

Looks like their top player was the 2022 Gatorade player of the year. Possibly will be this year too. My minimal research showed him going to oregon.

The top 2023 player in state is West Linn’s PG that Beaver94 mentions. And since the subject of Oregon high schoolers came up, saw this just yesterday. |

Jackson shelstad a 4 or 5 star recruit depending where you look is the west Linn point guard and is headed to oregon.

When you see a 4 or 5 star kid commit to Oregon over OSU, remember one thing: the ducks have been bribing football and MBB recruits since 2010. Now they have a duck collective called Division Street to do their buying. People can laugh at MBB losing recruits, but they should also laugh at CJS, Mitch Canham and Scott Rueck too. I would put OSU at the bottom of Pac12 in NIL ability to acquire talent thru recruiting. Even WSU was able to get $90,000 to QB Cameron Ward last year. We've never done that. How can you expect a kid to say no to the money?

West Linn lost the state titis game to Tualitan h.s. Josiah Lake the 6-1 pg,son of ex beaver by the same name leads the way. Wants to be a beaver. Has anyone seen him play to give a report? D-1 kid for sure...no offer yet.

She was part of the Gold Over America tour that all of the Olympic Gymnastics team went on. She would have got that money without even attending OSU. |

Folks here stories about big NIL deals and think it is the norm. Folks would be surprised NIL deals for most of the rank and file at most universities are very minimal. And, as stated, Jade's deal was not connected to being an OSU student, but an Olympic medal winner. |
