Looks like their top player was the 2022 Gatorade player of the year. Possibly will be this year too. My minimal research showed him going to oregon. With a few exceptions, pretty much everybody from West Linn goes to uckville. it's the ugly green thing I think. We had 3 “exceptions” on our roster last year. |

I was wondering same thing. Are there even 3 kids from Oregon, let alone from West Linn, on the men’s bball team roster?

Aside from Shelstad, West Linn's talent is mostly in other sports. Sam Leavitt is committed to play QB at Michigan State. Mark Hamper is committed to play WR at Idaho. Adrian Mosley, who transferred to West Linn for one year, mentioned in January that he wants to come to OSU and that he's been talking to schools like Cincinnati, Wazzu and UDub. From what I saw of him, he was a 6'2 kid with good athleticism that is maybe like a smaller Seth Tarver type. He's not exactly a program changer, but I do love having Oregon kids on our roster when it makes sense.

What (3) WLinn high school players were on the roster last season?? Yes, I was referring to the FB team. Just noting that all West Linn athletes do not go to uo. Plus uo has only had like 3 players from West Linn in recent history on their BB team. |

Clearly most people made the leap you were referring to hoops players, well because this is a hoops board. |

We couldn't have used a Pritchard type of player. Clearly most people made the leap you were referring to hoops players, well because this is a hoops board. I didn't say we couldn't have used a player like Pritchard. I was just responding to the poster who said everybody from West Linn goes to uckville because of the green and yellow thing......I was just giving a broader response that that is not the case in all sports. |
