I haven't blamed one player, not one. You guys are so into defending a guy that has a bad record you frankly are making crap up.

Every person on this team was recruited by tinkle. Some, frankly, shouldn't be playing at the division 1 level. But I can't blame a kid for taking a scholarship if offered. And no I won't shut up about the coach. Have a nice evening. In the end, what benefit do you get from bitching about the coach? I’m serious. I think everyone here knows your opinion. And you turn your bitterness toward the players, too, which really isn’t fair. So how does it benefit you? Probably it's part of his woulda-coulda-shoulda refrain. He failed trying to be a star at something. |

Most of us are just aware that he’s here for at least this year, and coming in every game they lose and complaining about the coach is tiresome. Time better spent appreciating, even critiquing, the effort and play of the players, win or lose. |

Some shouldn't be at this level that's just the truth. That in itself is a slam at several of our players. You proud of that? I see several of the first year guys having good potential for decent college careers at this level. |

It is quite possible for many of us to be on the fence about the coach or even to dislike him without bringing it up EVERY time the team loses. It’s not hard. Just focus on the players. They are kids. |

You know 14 or so months ago people were clamoring for a new football defensive coordinator. So were fans, couch coaches, wrong for hoping, pleading for a change. Or should people have kept their mouths shut and just accept whatever changes may or may not have been made? Obviously the change made had positive results. Since obviously few, if any, of those complaining had D1 head football coach or defensive coordinator experience which is apparently required if there are negative opinions about a persons results.

Really? Three of 12 who saw the court today are new. They out-fouled TAM 17-7 [as of this moment]. Out-rebounded 38-22. Out-shot 44%-36%. But, it's all Tinkles fault? Get a grip. Support the kids. I thought he was great and, sure, Adley got all the fame and glory, but Kwanny was the heart of the team. It wasn’t until those interviews as a Cleveland Guardian that I learned that he suffered from that complex where people feel that they don’t belong at that level. (Imposter complex, I think.) Can you believe it?! Me neither. Kwanny belonged on the championship team and he belongs in the pros. But he didn’t think so. Please remember Kwan when you talk about players not belonging. When it comes to the players, please be a Beaver Believer. Say what you want about Tinkle, if you feel you must. |
