I don't understand why pietche and beers don't get more minutes I was wondering the same. Especially when Bendu is an offensive liability in the scoring droughts. Pietche could really help. |

It was a good effort but I don't look at this Oregon team and see some juggernaut. It is not lost on me that the Ducks had a go-to player score at will and OSU's go-to player was inconsistent.
Some of you won't like this, but Graves did a significantly better job of coaching in the fourth than SR did.
Nothing about it was a disaster, but I'm not one for moral victories. Are we now starting to accept those in this program? I know the players don't.
Of course, the addition of Timea should help and this team is still growing. But it also has quite a bit of talent. I think this team SHOULD (and probably will) make the NCAA Tournament and I don't think that missing the tourney again is acceptable at all.

a couple of free throws (only 57%) and a couple of 3's (only 26%).... ...Hansford was open for a couple of shots she'll make plenty of as a Beav.....and who knows? Only 8 TO. Bravo !! UGLY Stat of the game: Beavs 1 for 14 on their final 14 field goal attempts. Someone said Graves out coached Rueck in 4th Q. 1-14 ain't all on the coach. |

Losing after leading 60-53 with about 5:00 left isn’t much of a moral victory, but I do think there’s been some noticeable improvement in this team. If we can only develop some consistency beyond the arc. |

I think our team clicks best when Beers and Mitrovic are on the floor at the same time. Scott pulled Beers right at the 5 minute mark, and, when she got back in, it was too late. I also think this illustrates how much we really, really need Timea.
We lost that one at the free throw line (57.1% - 81.8%) and the 3 point line (25.9% - 40.7%). Dead even on both rebounds and turnovers, and, overall shooting percentage, we were 40.0 and they were 36.5.
It was a good game - we looked much more into it than the games in Portland.
God, I hate that announcer!

Bendu made some key shots. Talia and Lily are the two players that had the worst shooting games (imho) - 4 for 19 between them. |
