Not for a bit but they are now. Guessing the main stats database or whatever you want to call it, was down as multiple sites weren't working

I'm bummed the stats aren't working for me :^(
TVO has made a lot of free throws and has scored a lot down the stretch. I missed the 3rd quarter too.

Certainly not a great game for OSU.
- Talia was really good. Seemed like she scored almost every point after AJ went on a run early in the second half. Hopefully Bendu can provide her some assistance offensively (AJ is still a little inconsistent and took some wild shots). Talia battled through a tweaked ankle(?), but she really put the team on her back - toughness was on full display.
- AJ had some good and bad moments. Took some wild shots, made some nice ones. Thought her on ball defense was really solid, but she seems to lose focus some times and gave up (along with everyone else) a number of offensive rebounds.
- Thought Raegan was solid. Rebounded well, challenged shots. Missed quite a few FTs. Had a really nice pass to Shalexxus to beat the shot clock.
- Jelena was OK. She was slow getting to some rebounds, but had some nice blocks. Has good court vision, but seems weak on the passes. Hopefully she'll keep getting better.

Well, I will say this is a pretty young team and they're going to have to rely on a few of the freshman to succeed. I'm really convinced that Beers is not only one of those players, but should be put in a position to thrive, not only by getting her the playing time, but focusing the offense on her to a large degree. She absolutely should be a go-to player on offense but has to hit free throws. There are one or two players that just can't be playing a lot of minutes in order for the team to win on a consistent basis. Also looking for some more impactful play out of Aaron, as well as Hansford and Blacklock. I am convinced that Yeaney will have a major impact once she gets on the floor. She'll add a lot, particularly on defense and they definitely missed that tonight. TVO looks about the same. Very good player who has the ability to take over these games late. She still gets the ball stolen a little too much, got her pocket picked in the open court at least once and lost the ball in the half court offense a couple others. Marotte looks pretty solid, at least on offense. I didn't really watch her on defense.

First off, TVO for President, without her, we lose by 10. Beers needs to start, she's impactful. Wish we could see Martha play more, probably Mannen's worst game. Lily and Adlee had freshman games and will learn, juries out on Aaron but played better tonight, someone give Jelena an expresso before the game, GO BEAVS!!

But her getting her pocket picked is a concern. That said, EWU’s pg is a grad transfer from ASU, so that’s Pac-12 caliber defense from her at least. Hopefully though we can just not ask TvO to be a ball handler in some of those types of situations; we need more players that SR trusts with the ball.

Another thing is that EW played well. They've had notable wins against Boise State and Southern Utah. It was a good test of our team and brought out some good play, especially in TVO and Beers. It also showed some faults, which is good for this time of year! I'm really impressed with some of the Frosh play; although, there are issues with getting de ball in de hoop from 3-point range (wish the stats were working).

Does anybody know where the stats can be found online? ESPN doesn't have them. (At the game, the stats froze on the board somewhere in the 3rd quarter I think.)
I'd guess Eastern Washington had close to 20 offensive rebounds.

Yeah, I didn't really mean it as a knock against her. But I think she did what she had to do in scoring that much because too many other players could not pick up the slack, and she is the "star" player for a reason. She got tons of points by getting to the basket and also drawing a lot of fouls. That's what I meant by looking about the same (along with a few turnovers). I think Yeaney might be the ball handler they need.

A couple crazy shots, but then nobody was hitting, so maybe she felt like she needed to force it. It didn't help though. Shalexxus and Raegan both made some nice passes to each other. Someone mentioned that Shalexxus didn't play well, but I thought I saw her value in the second half with some smart play. I think Lily is going to be better than many anticipated. It's going to take a while though. Right off the bat, I saw some lack of hustle int he second half, especially in defensive rebounding. I don't think we should ever expect Jelena to move too much when she is inside waiting for the rebound, but the other players should realize that, and not stand around.

Not sure what the final stats will show, but considering the defensive pressure from Eastern Washington, I didn't think the Beavs were too bad overall. This blurb from the OSU website pregame article "EWU guard Jamie Loera ranks 27th nationally with ten steals and three Eagles have at least 2.5 steals per game. Thanks to their defensive aggressiveness, Eastern Washington also ranks 21st nationally with a turnover margin of +11.33".
Beavs do have a lot of work to do though. I'm really curious to see what Bendu and Tamia bring to this team.

I really believe that RB will be starting soon if Jelena doesn’t step up her “alertness”. She seemed slow to react. Raegan is already boxing out for the rebound as the shot is going up. There were a couple of moments where we were not aggressively going after rebounds. The best move of the night was putting AJ on #15. Talia definitely proved her grit and leadership and probably the game off on Saturday. It looked like a high ankle sprain. Either way, she rubbed some dirt on it and pressed on.

Looks like Bendu will play! She did warm up with the team and showed no evidence of physical problems. I think she’ll play Saturday. The PA guy tried start her, announcing Shallexus Aaron as Bendu Yeaney. Bendu’s shooting in warmups wasn’t very good, but we need her mainly for her defense, ball handing and assists. We really need help at PG if we are going to compete against the better teams.
