After that FB Game there has to be some good Beav news somewhere! Brady Kasper with 2 bombs including a 430+ grand slam. Turley with a long bomb too.

Twitter reports say 10-5 win in the 1st game. Up 6-0 in the 2nd game now. Turley with the home run and two doubles. Guerra with a double. Kasper with the two home runs mentioned before.

Missed Brady’s first, late arriving crowd was standing in front of us. Second shot was a bomb. Turley did not disappoint. First AB was a no doubt shot to dead centre. He has an absolute can on for an arm. My prediction, by April there will be MLB GMs pissed they didn’t offer 7 figures. Bazzana was Mr. Hustle. 2 hits in his first 2 AB Defensive fundamentals looked good. Not sloppy at all No Reed listed on the roster. I think 51 players listed Smith had a solid defensive game, but a bit erratic with the location of his throws to 2nd Derneddie at Short, Bazzana started at 2b
Game was a sell out with people waiting outside begging for tickets We arrived 45 min early and the parking lot was nearly full, the entrance line well over 100 people long. Absolutely incredible. While waiting in line, people were talking about Surprise reservations.
Surprisingly, or maybe not, no one talked football. Everyone was very focused on baseball.
*edit, spellcheck sucks at names

Guerra started slow at the dish, but eventually hit a couple of balls real hard. Pitching was OK, not a lot of walks, I was mostly focused on who was where in the field.
Left after the first game. Mrs Abu was ready to go. Plus I had to get home to do irrigation.

Karen Hunter was hit hard by the Zags David Grewe. 6-2 185 So RHP was effective. No one could square him up. No idea about his velocity, but he threw strikes.
Wheeler was the warm up catcher. Didn’t see him bat Reuben Cedillo So LBCC started in LF, Leadoff. Was not a disciplined, make them throw strikes type batter. Maybe he was trying to hit his way onto the roster. Guerra was at 1B, he has bulked up some Wilson Weber So. was back up catcher, came in mid game. Listed as 6-0 215. He looks bigger. Was not cheated on his swings. Trotsky was a mid-game sub at 2B. Bazzana did not go to the OF ( unless I missed it)

No real word on Reed. The leg injury had to be really bad. Kasper now makes sense taking one of the OF spots.

Aaron Fitt from D1 Baseball was there. He’s going to be disappointed. The double header consisted of two 7 inning games.
