Lead off tonight against the Mariners with 13 pitch at bat and a base hit. Lots of love from the Fox announcers.

Looked like he hit his rib cage and was in a bit of pain. Stayed in game. Drew a rising star in Tampa. Nick coming on for the Cubs and then there's Adley. Character of these guys off the charts. Both happy for all of them and hoping Canham can leverage their success into a couple big time recruiting classes. .

Really impressed that he keeps his average right at .300 as a rookie batting lead off, facing pitchers he’s never seen before.

Oh my...Kwan at it again in the top of the second against the Os. Leaps to grap a fly ball in the corner before it can hit the wall then throws a strike to first to double off the runner. Kid must be on his way to a gold glove.

He likely would have been ruled safe on appeal, which wasn't called by the Birds. Its as if they need the Bennys house crew in the dugout to help them on the appeal calls. We probably could just text Adley from Corvallis in real time.

In other news, Larnach is supposed to start his rehab assignment sometime this week. He was just switched to the 60-day IL. He's done for the year. The 60 days relates back to his initial injury date of June 24, 2022. He is supposed to start his rehab assignment in Fort Myers soon. Now that he is on the 60-day, though, there are more hurdles to reactive him, once he is 100%.
